Online workshops 19-20 February 2022

All sessions are online, mostly through Zoom. All times are for Melbourne Australia. There is a time zone converter at the bottom of this page.
(Note: although sessions normally close for new bookings at 2pm on the Friday before the sessions, they can close earlier if a session is full, or if the circumstances of the presenter have changed, and they are unable to present on that day..

Saturday 19 February 2022

10 am Melbourne time, Transposing keys and chord shapes, with Sally Carter.
12 noon Melbourne time, (11 a.m. Queensland), Learn to teach yourself with, Vic Kena. No new bookings will be taken for this workshop.
2 pm, Learning easy major scales with Nick Bennett. No new bookings will be taken for this workshop.

Sunday 20 February Melbourne times

10 am, Play Ukulele by Ear, with Jim D’Ville. 10 am Melbourne time,

11:30 am, Playing Chords and Melody, with Sally Carter
1:30 pm, Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’ with Daniel Purnomo.
4 pm, Understanding scales, chords, and how to change the key of a song, with Richard Snow.

ALSO: a three week course by Daniel Purnomo teaching the song ‘Oh Carol’ by Neil Sedaka, with a Rhumba pattern, on three consecutive Friday nights starting 11 February.

Tickets will be sent by email from “Trybooking”. The ticket is just a receipt. You don’t need to “do anything” with it.

The presenters will have your email address and send you a zoom link before the workshop, so check your junk mail folder a couple of hours before the session.

Depending on the day and session, presenters may be from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, or the US.

Prices are in Australian dollars and based on AU $16 / hour session. This is about $12 US, about $16 NZ, There is one 90 minute session at a higher rate.

All times for these events are Eastern Australian (i.e. Melbourne) time. If you are in the US, the sessions will be late afternoon or early evening the day BEFORE. See the time zone converter below.

Cancellations/Refunds: If it becomes impossible to attend a session, you can choose to transfer to another session or get a refund, up to 48 hours before the session. After that, we can hold your ticket and apply it against a future workshop. If the presenter records the session we could let you watch the recording for free in lieu of a refund, if you wish.
