Online workshops Sat 4 December and Sun 5 December 2021.

All sessions are online, mostly through Zoom. All times are for Melbourne Australia. There is a time zone converter at the bottom of this page.

Sat 4 December Melbourne times
10 am, Hearing Chord Changes by Ear, with Jim D’Ville. Personalities of the major scale chords and common chord progressions.
12 noon, Same chord, different shapes, with Kirk Jones. Add color to your playing by using chords one or two frets up the neck
2pm, Understanding scales, chords, and how to change the key of a song. with Richard Snow. Sign up for any other two workshops and we will send you the link to this one free.
4 pm, White Christmas in a Bossa Nova style, with Daniel Purnomo.

Sunday 5 December Melbourne time
10 a.m. More about the blues, with Duplicity (Brendan Canty and Sue Kidd).
12noon. Weaving harmonies and melodies in a group, with Sally Carter.
2pm Stage presentation, with Amie Brûlée, Use the whole stage, project yourself and connect with the audience. (This sessions is now closed for new bookings)
4 pm Daniel Purnomo Christmas concert: popular Christmas carols and songs to set you right in the mood for the season.

Tickets will be sent by email from “Trybooking”. The ticket is just a receipt. You don’t need to “do anything” with it. The presenters will have your email address and send you a zoom link the day before the workshop, so check your junk mail folder the night before the session. If you are in the US, check your junk mail folder around lunchtime.

Depending on the day and session, presenters may be from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, or the US.

Prices are in Australian dollars and based on AU $16 / hour session. This is about $12 US, about $16 NZ, There are a couple of 90 minute sessions at a higher rate.

All times for these events are Eastern Australian (i.e. Melbourne) time. If you are in the US, the sessions will be late afternoon or early evening the day BEFORE. See the time zone converter below.

Cancellations/Refunds: If it becomes impossible to attend a session, you can choose to transfer to another session or get a refund, up to 48 hours before the session. After that, we can hold your ticket and apply it against a future workshop. If the presenter records the session we could let you watch the recording for free in lieu of a refund, if you wish.
